How to pack and ship your quilt:
1) Print out and complete a quilt detail form to include with your quilt. A plain text (and hopefully printer friendly) form is here.
2) Select a shipping box big enough to accomodate your finished quilt for its return trip (remember that batting will add considerable bulk).
3) Place your quilt top and backing in a plastic bag. Do not put the quilt detail form inside the bag.
4) Place your bagged quilt top and backing in the box with the form on top of the plastic bag.
5) When addressing: use a physical address, UPS will not be able to deliver to a P.O. Box. Also include your telephone number, some local UPS services often need it.
6) Please insure your quilt top and backing for their trip to me. UPS return shipping includes basic insurance; if you feel that the insured value should be higher than basic coverage I will need your estimated value and sufficient extra funds to purchase that coverage. I am not responsible for quilts lost during shipping.
7) Please e-mail me before you ship your quilt.
8) For shipping to areas outside the "lower 48" states, I will need more details before saying "yes"; I will need payment for any extra shipping charges involved.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or to make a reservation.
