Please note that the quilting fees for local clients are lower than the fees listed here due to no need for shipping. For local fee estimates or for questions about your quilt, please feel free to call me at (509)-448-0263 or hit the "Contact Me" button just above this to send me an e-mail.
For clients who are shipping quilts:
Please also see my other pages outlining shipping instructions. Please print out a form to ship with your quilt. A plain text (and hopefully printer friendly) form is here.
The fee schedule listed below should help you to estimate your investment in your quilt. Thread, batting and return shipping cost to the "lower 48" in the U.S. are included in the fees shown. Shipping insurance beyond the basic rate is extra. I will e-mail you an estimate before I quilt your quilt so you have an idea of cost before proceeding. As with all estimates, the fee estimated may be subject to change if indicated by additional time, materials or other factors. Fees are calculated based upon the area of your quilt in square inches and the type of batting you choose:
Basic fees:
| 100% Polyester 3 oz.: | 3.0 cents/square inch |
| Hobbs 80/20 Poly*: | 3.2 cents/square inch |
| 100% Cotton, bleached: | 3.4 cents/square inch |
*Hobbs 80/20 is available in standard and 120" widths, please specify your preference.
Additional fees:
Sew backing together: $5.00 per seam
| Make Binding: | King: | $12.00 |
| Queen: | $9.00 |
| Full: | $6.00 |
| Baby: | $3.00 |
| Sew binding: | King: | $12.00 |
| (to front of quilt) | Queen: | $9.00 |
| Full: | $6.00 |
| Baby: | $3.00 |
Hand stitch binding to back of quilt: 15 cents/linear inch.
Heirloom Quilting: An additional 0.5 to 1.0 cents per square inch is typical.
Art Quilting: Individual estimates are necessary.
Important notes:
I custom machine quilt your quilt for you from your assembled quilt top and with your backing (assembled or not).
At this time I do not make or assemble quilt tops, or make entire quilts for others.
Washington residents are charged sales tax unless a valid resale certificate has been completed prior to the transaction. If you must pay a sales or use tax in another state or province as a result of your purchase, you are responsible for taking care of that liability.
Payment must be received in full (check cleared) before I can return ship your quilt.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or to make a reservation.
